I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in practice for over 18 years providing compassionate, unbiased care to individuals of all ages. I love being a counselor and truly enjoy helping others. Whatever your concerns may be, I am here to help.
In counseling I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. Together we will take a look at how your thoughts impact your feelings and behaviors. We will also work on pinpointing unhealthy coping skills and replacing them with healthy coping skills. The focus will be on achieving your goals at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Your first session will be about me getting to know you and what has brought you to counseling. We will go at your pace and cover the topics you want to cover. If you find yourself having a hard time opening up, I will ask you questions to help guide you. At the end of the session we will set counseling goals that will bring about the change you are looking for.
