Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported—without judgment. As a trauma-informed therapist, I work with women and teen girls navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, life transitions, identity, self-esteem, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic. I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and attachment-focused work depending on your needs and goals. I especially enjoy helping clients understand how past experiences may be shaping the way they see themselves, navigate relationships, and respond to the world today.

As a bilingual English- and Spanish-speaking therapist, I also value the role that culture, family, and identity can play in our mental health. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start exactly where you are and work together toward meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to each individual. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, so we’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools that feel realistic and meaningful for your life.

I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and attachment-focused approaches. Depending on your goals, our work may include processing past experiences, exploring relationships and attachment patterns, challenging unhelpful beliefs, building emotional regulation skills, strengthening boundaries, or developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

I balance deeper processing with practical tools you can use outside of therapy. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to help you better understand yourself, feel more grounded and confident, and create lasting changes in the way you relate to yourself and others.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been feeling difficult lately, your history and experiences, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I know starting therapy—or starting over with a new therapist—can feel vulnerable, so there is no expectation that you share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify your goals and what support may be most helpful.

I also want therapy to feel collaborative, so you’re always welcome to ask questions, share what is or isn’t working for you, and provide feedback along the way. By the end of our first few sessions, we’ll begin developing a treatment plan together that reflects your needs, strengths, and goals.
