Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, and I work with a wide range of people - children as young as school age, teenagers navigating hard transitions, adults dealing with anxiety or depression that's been building for years, families that feel stuck, and older adults facing major life shifts. What people tend to say after working with me is that therapy felt different than they expected - less like being analyzed and more like actually being helped.

My approach to therapy

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). In practice, that means I help people understand what's driving their patterns - not just talk about them - and build real tools to change them. With kids and families, I use Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy and psychoeducational approaches, which means I often work with parents alongside their children. ADHD, anxiety, and trauma affect the whole family system - and treating it as a family issue, not just a child issue, tends to get better results faster. I adapt to each person. Some clients want structured skill-building. Others need space to process. Most need both at different points. I pay attention to which one is useful in the moment.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation. I'll ask you what's been going on, what's brought you in now, and what you're hoping to feel or be able to do differently. You don't need to have it all figured out before we talk. By the end of the first session, you should have a clear sense of whether I'm the right fit and what working together would look like. I offer telehealth across Massachusetts and also see clients in person in Pepperell, MA. Most new clients find that even the first session provides some relief - not because the problem is solved, but because having a clear next step changes how the problem feels.
