Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed psychologist and received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, I am a generalist who have worked with individuals from a lot of different cultures and backgrounds with a variety of presenting concerns. I have special expertise in working with survivors of trauma, abuse and interpersonal violence, and I have a particular interest in working with gender, sexual, and relationship minorities (e.g., LGBTQ+, kink).

My approach to therapy

I utilize a flexible, evidence-based approach that considers your values, background and identities, and needs. Together, we work together to untangle the knots life has created for you by building your awareness, knowledge, and skills to progress on your healing journey. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, and my therapeutic style is often fairly active and collaborative in nature.

What you can expect from me

It takes a lot of strength and courage to seek help and I want you to feel supported and encouraged in your healing journey. After appointments, I hope you will leave having gained more insight, knowledge, skills, and awareness that will help you find the power and confidence within to make small changes over time until you are living the life you want to live.
