I graduated in 2016 with a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and have been working as a Mental Health Therapist since that time . I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have focused my subsequent studies on trauma work including adoption competency. I have worked in direct mental health services since 2011 including individual, family and group counseling.
I use an individualized person centered approach to working with clients. Every person and their needs are different so we first will meet to ensure I am a best fit for your needs, establish your goals for counseling and then consistently collaborate to ensure we are addressing the goals you set out to accomplish. I’m your advocate and our time together is your space for you to increase your self awareness and self compassion.
Life can be overwhelming and lead us to want change. Often we struggle to find the next steps towards getting things to a more balanced state. In our time together, I will empower you to identify your needs and work towards achieving your goals in a warm and supportive environment. We will work to build openness and communication skills that help strengthen your natural supports. This is a space for you to work towards things being better- whatever better might look like for you.
