Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over six years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate challenges related to relationships, trauma, grief, life transitions, and emotional well-being. I’m deeply committed to helping people feel seen, supported, and understood. I believe therapy can be a powerful space for healing, growth, and meaningful change—especially when we have the opportunity to process painful experiences and losses in a safe and supportive environment.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in accountability. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that past experiences, unresolved grief, and relationship patterns can shape how we think, feel, and connect with others. While I provide guidance, empathy, and professional insight, meaningful progress in therapy also requires your active participation. Healing often involves the courage to reflect honestly, explore difficult emotions, and take intentional steps toward change outside of our sessions.

I strive to create a safe, respectful space where you can speak openly and feel heard without judgment. At the same time, I believe in gently challenging patterns that may be holding you back, helping you build greater awareness, resilience, and responsibility in the changes you want to make in your life and relationships.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when addressing trauma or grief. Healing takes time, patience, and a willingness to engage in the process. If you’re ready to invest in your growth, your relationships, and your emotional well-being, I’m here to support you as we work together toward greater clarity, connection, and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in family systems and client-centered perspectives, with a strong sensitivity to trauma, grief, and life transitions. I recognize that past experiences, losses, and relationship patterns can deeply influence how we see ourselves and connect with others.

I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Healing from trauma and grief takes patience, empathy, and a sense of safety, and I work to meet you where you are while honoring your pace.

At the same time, therapy is an active partnership that includes accountability. Meaningful change requires honesty, reflection, and a willingness to engage in the process. Together, we will explore relationship patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools that support healing, resilience, and healthier ways of coping.

My goal is to help you build self-awareness, strengthen communication, and move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll work together to clarify what’s bringing you to therapy. This session is a two-way conversation: I’ll ask questions about your experiences, relationships, and goals, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts.

We’ll address any fears, doubts, or struggles you may have about starting therapy and discuss what you feel ready to do in the process. Honesty about your willingness to engage and what you hope to work on helps us set realistic goals and build a productive therapeutic partnership.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your challenges, expectations, and next steps, creating a foundation for focused, meaningful work together.
