Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual clinical psychologist. I offer virtual therapy in both English and Spanish to individuals in Washington and New York.

I specialize in evidence-based treatments for adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, immigration-related adjustments, and work-related stress. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Approaches.

Whether you're looking to address specific challenges or explore life patterns, my goal is to help you build a healthier, more fulfilling life aligned with your values. As a clinical psychologist, I offer evidence-based treatments in a collaborative and compassionate environment, specializing in mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and life transitions, including immigration-related adjustments.

While my primary approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I integrate humanistic, mindfulness-based, and experiential techniques when appropriate to meet individual needs. I have specialized training in treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, and related concerns.

I am proud to provide bilingual psychotherapy in Spanish. Additionally, I offer psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including those for asylum, extreme hardship, and removal of inadmissibility conditions.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and approach psychotherapy as a collaborative, goal-oriented process. Together, we will work in an open, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to build flexibility, address challenges, and develop effective strategies for managing difficulties.

Evidence-based therapy is grounded in scientific research and clinical expertise, offering proven techniques to support mental well-being. Approaches like CBT, Prolonged Exposure, and Mindfulness-based therapies have been rigorously studied and shown to provide lasting benefits. While these treatments follow research-backed principles, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. We will tailor strategies to your unique needs, ensuring a personalized and meaningful path to healing.

My practice takes a holistic approach, exploring the many aspects of your experiences—thoughts, emotions, beliefs, memories, relationships, and life goals. We will also examine how broader influences, such as family, friendships, and work or school environments, shape your identity and well-being.

I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patients. I recognize the unique challenges and experiences everyone faces, and I’m committed to providing compassionate care that respects each individual's background. Your comfort and well-being is my highest priority. Through a personalized and compassionate approach, my goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, empowered, and supported in your journey toward healing and growth.
