Great to meet you!

I know reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and never judged! I’ve worked in the mental health field for several years and have experience supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families through anxiety, substance use, eating disorders, anger, issues, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional stress. As someone who has lived in Wyoming for over 26 years, I value being approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are.

I have worked in the mental health field for 5 years and have been fully licensed for 2 years. I work in a variety of different areas. I have a Master's degree from Grand Canyon University and graduated December 2020!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is flexible because I understand that every person’s needs and experiences are different. I often use CBT to help clients better understand thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping skills and confidence. I also incorporate play and art therapy when it helps clients express themselves in a more natural and comfortable way. Above all, I focus on building trust and rapport so therapy feels collaborative, supportive, and tailored to what works best for you.

What you can expect from me

I am an open book, if you want to know about me or if you have a question just ask. During our first session, we’ll review paperwork, talk through how therapy works, and focus on what feels most important for you to address right now. I want clients to feel comfortable asking questions and getting to know me as well, because building a strong connection is an important part of the process. You can expect a welcoming, open environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin working toward your goals together.
