Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Heidy!

I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I want you to know you’re not alone in this. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my passion is helping people navigate life’s challenges with more clarity, self-compassion, and connection.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College and later pursued additional training in Family & Relationship Therapy because I’ve always been drawn to the way our relationships—both with ourselves and others—shape our experiences. I also specialize in working with trauma and am trained in EMDR therapy, using a blend of approaches, including parts work, to help clients process and heal in a way that feels right for them.

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Whether you’re feeling stuck, working through past wounds, or wanting to strengthen your relationships, I’m here to support you in a way that feels meaningful and tailored to you.

I’d love to connect and see how we can work together.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. My approach is client-centered, meaning I tailor sessions to your unique needs and goals.

For trauma work, I use EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT to help process painful experiences in a way that feels manageable and empowering. With couples, I draw from the Gottman Method to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster deeper connection. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), or “parts work,” to help clients explore different aspects of themselves with self-compassion and clarity.

Above all, my goal is to help you heal, grow, and create meaningful change in your life. I’d love to support you on your journey.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, helping you gain insight, develop coping skills, and navigate challenges with more confidence.

Clients often walk away with a deeper understanding of themselves, healthier relationship patterns, and practical tools for healing and growth. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and more connected to yourself and others.
