Great to meet you!

I offer a warm, grace-filled space where you can feel safe being seen, heard, and supported. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating relationship distress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, marital strain, parenting challenges, codependency, self-worth concerns, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and the effects of narcissistic abuse. My work is grounded in a holistic understanding of healing: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being are often connected. I believe every person has inherent dignity, value, and capacity for growth, even when life feels painful or you feel stuck. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients with compassion and care as they reconnect with their strengths, clarify what matters most, and move toward a more whole and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored, client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I honor each person’s story and work with you to create a treatment plan that reflects your goals, values, pace, and desired growth. I draw from trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems-informed “parts work.” I also incorporate mindfulness, positive psychology, and self-acceptance practices to help clients move beyond anxiety, depression, self-limiting beliefs, and the feeling of being stuck. My philosophy is that therapy should support the whole person and balance meaningful insight with practical tools you can use in everyday life. For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate faith into counseling as a source of hope, healing, and deeper meaning.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is an open-minded, welcoming opportunity to share what is bringing you to therapy and what you most want support with right now. I will listen carefully to your concerns, learn more about your relationships and current circumstances, and begin understanding the goals you have for yourself, your family, or your partnership. You can expect a compassionate conversation where you feel respected rather than evaluated, and where we begin identifying a direction for treatment that feels personal, supportive, and realistic.

In our first sessions, we'll explore questions like: What would healing or progress look like for you? What is bothering you the most? What changes would you hope to see in your life? These conversations help guide our work together and ensure therapy is focused on what matters most to you.
