Great to meet you!

My varied experiences, as an art teacher, middle school counselor, and college professor, has informed my approach to therapy. I would like to help you help yourself, by guiding, supporting and brainstorming strategies to confront and reduce your concerns. I use empathy, creativity and humor to guide us through the process.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach, emphasizing cognitive/rational therapy, REBT, CBT, and Humanism. I trained at the Albert Ellis Institute and at the Beck Institute. I'm empathic, a good listener, and encourage your creativity to engender balance and well-being. Maintaining a sense of humor is essential.

What you can expect from me

A first session will cover: Some personal introductions, reviewing policies, such as confidentiality, Headway’s policies for cancellations, answering questions and learning about your issues and what are your goals? The introductory session determines whether or not we can work together.
