Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Allie, a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves during life's most challenging seasons. I specialize in working with adults experiencing grief, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions, and I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are; without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

Life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves. Whether you're grieving, feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a space to pause, reconnect, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and intention.

I believe healing doesn't come from "fixing" yourself... it comes from understanding yourself with curiosity, compassion, and courage. Together, we'll explore the experiences, patterns, and strengths that have shaped your story while creating space for growth, resilience, and meaningful change. My hope is that you'll leave therapy feeling more connected to yourself and more confident in your ability to navigate whatever life brings.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than simply treating symptoms, I work with clients to understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that have shaped how they relate to themselves and others. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic approaches that recognize the connection between the mind and body.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether we're processing grief, healing from trauma, navigating a life transition, or learning to regulate your nervous system, we'll move at a pace that feels safe while keeping your goals at the center of our work.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. Our first session is simply a chance to get to know each other. I'll take time to understand your story, what has brought you here, and what you hope will be different in your life. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin; that's what we'll figure out together.

By the end of our session, my hope is that you'll feel seen, supported, and more hopeful about the path ahead. Together, we'll begin building a plan that honors your goals while creating space for healing, growth, and lasting change.
