Great to meet you!

I have over 23 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults in lots of different settings. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches in order to help my clients gain further insights, grow, and build enough tools in their repertoire so that my services are no longer needed. I am strengths based, which means I guide clients to understand their unique abilities, skills, thought processes, and talents that help them overcome stressors and obstacles.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using a multitude of approaches, Helena guides clients in a holistic way that utilizes proven therapeutic methods. She uses art therapy, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, narrative, nature-based, and gestalt techniques to explore ways in which a client can best process and learn from their experiences, emotions, and thoughts. Most important is that a client feels heard, safe and supported during the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from our first session

A greater sense of self awareness and self acceptance. A feeling of hope and non-judgement. Inspired by creative problem-solving and/or participating in a creative activity.
