Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can bring up fear, hope, excitement, and nervousness. Taking the step to prioritize your wellbeing and growth takes courage, and I commend you for beginning this journey. I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My journey to becoming a provider was influenced by my upbringing in a household affected by trauma and poor mental health. Therapy was my opportunity to heal, grow, and find a pathway to thrive. I believe that everyone can overcome the obstacles in their lives and move in a direction that will provide joy and fulfillment.

I prioritize being genuine and authentic in my work with clients. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with me as an empathetic partner. If we're working through something challenging, you can expect me to validate and affirm what you are experiencing.

I believe that therapy is a partnership. Together, we'll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, or another personal objective. As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrated humanistic approach to help you understand how your lived experiences have shaped your identity and impacted your wellness. This hands-on approach increases self-awareness of all the parts of yourself. We work towards building empowerment with new skills to give you tools to feel more in control.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. Therapy is a process, and we'll continue to build our work together over time. It's completely normal to feel nervous about your first appointment.
