My approach to therapy

We will collaborate to create a plan for addressing issues and to empower you to cope and to get your life back. The focus of treatment is on getting to know you and your experience and use research based knowledge to improve symptoms. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter. I offer therapy sessions in person and online for your convenience. I'm available most week days.

What you can expect from me

Psychoeducation about symptoms and empowerment to engage in treatment. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence based resources we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment I'll help you through all processes to improve your mental health.
