Great to meet you!

Helina Worku, DNP, MSN, FNP, PMHNP, CRRN, is a dedicated nurse practitioner with more than four years of experience practicing as an NP, over a decade of nursing experience, and approximately 18 years of experience in a healthcare center. With advanced preparation in family practice and psychiatric-mental health care, Helina brings a broad perspective to supporting patients’ health and well-being. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. In addition to her clinical expertise, Helina actively participates in community health initiatives, promoting wellness and preventive care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, patient-centered, and holistic. I take time to listen, understand each person’s concerns and goals, and consider the whole person—not just a diagnosis. Drawing on my background in family practice and psychiatric-mental health care, I aim to build trusting relationships, support informed decision-making, and develop individualized plans that promote overall well-being. I believe respectful communication, collaboration, and continuity of care help patients feel heard and supported.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free first session. I’ll take time to listen to their concerns, learn about their health history and goals, and understand what matters most to them. Together, we’ll discuss next steps and develop an individualized plan of care. I encourage questions and aim to make sure each client feels heard, informed, and supported.
