Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience in psychiatry. I have worked in crisis services and inpatient behavioral health, where I’ve supported individuals through some of their most challenging moments. That work has shaped how I show up with calm, compassion, and a steady presence when you need it most.

I work with adults and older adults, and I value the opportunity to support people across different stages of life. I focus on treating mood disorders, anxiety, and psychotic disorders, always with the goal of helping you feel more stable, understood, and in control of your mental health.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure of where to start, you are not alone. My role is to meet you where you are and help you take that next step forward in a way that feels manageable and supportive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around you. I take time to really listen and understand your experiences, not just your symptoms. I believe that meaningful care comes from combining clinical knowledge with genuine human connection.

I focus on thorough psychiatric evaluations and evidence based medication management, while also making sure your voice is part of every decision. We will talk through your concerns, your goals, and what matters most to you so that your treatment plan feels both effective and personal.

I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, sharing openly, and being actively involved in your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to feel welcoming, supportive, and easy to step into. We will start by talking about what brought you in and what you have been experiencing, and I will guide the conversation in a way that feels natural and not overwhelming.

I will ask questions to better understand your history, current symptoms, and goals for treatment. Together, we will begin to clarify what you would like to work toward, whether that is symptom relief, improved daily functioning, or feeling more emotionally balanced.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of what is going on and what the next steps look like. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that we have a plan in place that fits your needs.
