Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience providing behavioral health and substance use treatment services. My background includes working with adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient, community-based, and crisis care settings. I specialize in treating substance use disorders. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to work toward meaningful change and long-term wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention strategies, and strength-based approaches to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and achieve personal growth. I believe therapy should be collaborative, individualized, and focused on helping clients develop practical tools to navigate everyday challenges.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive conversation focused on understanding their concerns, goals, and personal history. I take time to listen carefully, answer questions, and help clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. Together, we will begin identifying strengths, discussing treatment goals, and creating a plan that supports their emotional and behavioral health needs.
