Great to meet you!

Life has a way of throwing "unexpected" transitions our way—whether you’re a young adult finding your footing, a couple trying to bridge a growing gap, or a fellow veteran transitioning back to civilian life. As a proud veteran of the United States Navy, I bring a unique perspective of discipline, resilience, and service to my clinical work. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and have spent a decade supporting diverse populations, including first responders, civil service members, and families navigating the complexities of depression and relationship conflict. I'm here to ensure you feel seen and supported as we turn life's surprises into opportunities for growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in what is happening "right now." I utilize a combination of Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify what is working and change what isn’t. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model; instead, I focus on your individual strengths and developmental needs. Whether we are rebuilding communication in a marriage or navigating the shift toward social independence, my goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free zone where you can process your journey and develop high-level coping skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to listen. You can expect a warm, supportive environment where we’ll discuss the challenges that brought you here and what you hope to achieve. We will start where you are—facing things head-on with transparency and compassion. By the end of our first meeting, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your goals and a shared plan for how to build the tools you need to restore balance and sanity to your life.
