Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families from all walks of life. I’ve supported people navigating depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship challenges, and life transitions—reminding me that these struggles can affect anyone, regardless of background. Alongside my clinical work, I’ve also volunteered in shelters, mentored students, and served in leadership roles, which has deepened my perspective on resilience and healing.

A little bit about myself: before moving into private practice full-time, I served as a co-executive for Na-Bolom, a nonprofit in southern Mexico dedicated to preserving Mayan culture and the environment. That work strengthened my belief in the importance of honoring each person’s story and cultural background in the healing process.

My approach to therapy

I tailor my work to fit each person’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what’s most helpful, I may draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems work, humanistic approaches, or other evidence-based practices. For couples, I respect and support both traditional and alternative relationships, always focusing on creating understanding and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm and welcoming space to share your story. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, and collaborate with you on setting goals that feel realistic and meaningful. My priority is that you leave our session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
