Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Assumption University. I have experience working with all ages who are struggling with various challenges that occur at different life stages. I use a strength- based approach as well as some motivational interviewing with my background in CBT.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I consider myself to be warm and friendly in my approach to therapy and know how important it is to build a relationship with the people Im working with. It is when we build safe, trusting relationships, that people are better able to be honest and vulnerable and share their most difficult thoughts and feelings. Sometimes it can take time, and that's ok. I am willing to meet you where you are at and support you at the pace that feels most comfortable to you.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy is a personal journey. Sometimes individuals are aware of what their goals are and what they want to achieve through therapy, others are unsure and need a little guidance. Im here to help you figure out your goals and support you with making progress toward them. No one ever has the same path but with some direction, open-mindedness, and persistence, everyone is capable of change and success.
