Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and families with a variety of behavioral health concerns, in a wide range of settings, and using multiple evidence-based models of treatment. My initial focus on children, adolescents, and families informs my understanding of and empathy for adults seeking therapy now. I especially love working with women and couples experiencing infertility, issues that might impact pregnancy, and postpartum disorders.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself warm, open, accepting, and energetic. Some clients have told me they can tell I love what I do, and I truly consider it a privilege to be able to bear witness to other's suffering. I believe that acceptance and self-empowerment are the necessary fundamental principles to be able to heal and move one's life in the direction they wish.

What you can expect from me

On the first session, I will invite you to share the pieces of yourself you would like to share. I want you to feel the space to breathe and be seen and be heard as you are. I will certainly ask some "get to know you" questions, but we won't dig into the deep stuff right away. I will tell you the important basics of working with me and you can decide if you want to book our next session!
