Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.I bring a solid nursing foundation and advanced training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management, with a holistic lens that considers the biological, psychological, and social factors influencing mental health. My background also includes experience in education and mentorship, which shapes the way I prioritize clear communication, patient understanding, and shared decision-making.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to care, meaning we work together to understand what’s going on and decide on a treatment plan that actually fits your life. I believe mental health care should feel human, not rushed or one-size-fits-all.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on building rapport, understanding your concerns, and creating a foundation for ongoing care. During the appointment, we will review what brings you in, your current symptoms, and relevant personal, medical, and mental health history. I may ask structured questions to gain a clear understanding of your experiences, but the session remains conversational and respectful. If appropriate, we will also discuss treatment options, including medication, therapy referrals, and supportive strategies, with an emphasis on shared decision-making.

I look forward to working together and being part of your mental health journey.
