Great to meet you!

I'm Hillary Wilson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California, offering telehealth therapy to adults and seniors. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family issues, and child and adolescent psychiatry, and I also support clients navigating ADHD, PTSD, grief and loss, relationship challenges, women's issues, and stress management. Whether you're coming in for yourself or bringing concerns about a child or your family system, I bring a warm, relational lens to our work together.

My approach to therapy

I work through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). CBT helps identify and shift the thought patterns driving anxiety, depression, and stress; SFBT keeps us oriented toward your goals and what's already working in your life; and CPP is a specialized approach for strengthening the bond between caregivers and young children, particularly when early experiences or trauma have affected that relationship. Together, these approaches allow me to work effectively with individuals and across the family system.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to connect and get oriented. I'll ask about what's brought you in, what you've been experiencing, and what you're hoping our work together will help with — whether that's something you're navigating personally or a concern about your child or family. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard and with a clear sense of what moving forward together might look like.
