Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes that mental health is an essential part of whole-person well-being. I view each person within the context of their relationships, communities, and broader environment, recognizing that our experiences and circumstances can all shape our mental health. My work is rooted in a social justice perspective and focuses on supporting individuals as they navigate their mental health and life experiences. I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, and grief. I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness, and Narrative Therapy. I have specialized training in justice-based ERP.

My approach to therapy

As a bilingual therapist, I strive to support individuals across all identities navigating life stressors and mental health challenges. My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and exploratory. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to work alongside you to better understand what you are experiencing and identify what feels most helpful and meaningful. I tailor my approach to each individual and their needs, balancing exploration and reflection with more direct guidance when appropriate. Together, we can build on your strengths, develop insight, and work toward changes that support your goals and complement your innate strengths.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. It is also a chance for both of us to assess whether working together feels like the right fit for you and your needs. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can go at your own pace. We may begin discussing goals during the first session, or we can take time to build that foundation and develop goals together in the sessions that follow.
