Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with a Master’s degree in Social Work with over ten years of experience. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families navigate substance use, life transitions, and the challenges that can come with change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is expressing compassion, collaboration, and client-centered.

I work with clients by first building a strong therapeutic relationship and understanding their individual needs, goals, strengths, and challenges. I approach each individual person and their specific needs. I incorporate evidence-based strategies such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relapse Prevention, Trauma-Informed Care, Culturally Responsive Therapy, Family Therapy, Psycho-education, and Recovery Support Planning.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive environment where they feel heard and respected. We will discuss what brings them to therapy, explore their strengths and goals, and identify areas they would like to focus on. My goal is for clients to leave feeling empowered, supported, understood, and hopeful about the process.
