Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a background in both psychiatric and primary care. I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults, with experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and substance use disorders.

I completed graduate training in psychiatric mental health nursing and have several years of experience delivering care via telehealth. My work is grounded in clinical best practices, thoughtful assessment, and collaborative decision-making. I aim to create a supportive, respectful environment where clients feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is patient-centered, structured, and practical. I focus on understanding the full clinical picture, including symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals, before developing a plan together.

While my primary role is medication management, I often incorporate brief, evidence-based therapeutic strategies such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based approaches, and psychoeducation when appropriate. I value clear communication, conservative and responsible prescribing, and ongoing monitoring to ensure treatment remains safe, effective, and aligned with each client’s goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding their current concerns, relevant history, and treatment priorities. We’ll review symptoms, past treatments, medications, and any medical or lifestyle factors that may be contributing to how they’re feeling.

My goal for the initial visit is to establish clarity, outline next steps, and develop an initial treatment plan that feels reasonable and manageable. I strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients can ask questions, feel supported, and leave with a clear understanding of their care plan and what to expect moving forward.
