Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist in Texas and California, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I hold certification as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

My approach

"As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, my goal is to help you become your own therapist, equipped with tools to understand what’s happening in your life right now and how to navigate it effectively. My training in advanced cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), considered the gold standard in psychological treatment, took place at UCLA-Harbor Medical Center, where I had the opportunity to master the key components of CBT practice and treatment concepts. Through my training background and clinical experiences, I am truly passionate about empowering you to become your own therapist, so you can regain a sense of control and confidence in your life."

My goals for you

"Through our collaboration, which I like to think of as teamwork, you can expect to gain a deeper understanding and fresh perspectives on your struggles. I’m here to offer the support and tools you need to move toward your therapeutic goals.”

My journey to mental healthcare

“It’s been 18 years since I entered the helping profession. It still feels like yesterday. The excitement I felt when I started this adventure/journey is still vivid in my memory. My passion and compassion remain high as I approach my 19th anniversary. This is like a dream come true. As an immigrant, I encountered numerous challenges and setbacks throughout my journey. One of my biggest challenges was learning a new language. I’m blessed that I was able to achieve academic success with the support of my friends and mentors. Because of my past experiences, I have developed a strong passion to support others in their healing journeys.”

My approach to therapy

“I prioritize client-centered, warm, and collaborative therapy approaches, thoughtfully tailoring treatment to address your unique needs through the lens of biopsychosocial perspectives. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be your true self.”

I hold advanced certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Professional.

What you can expect from me

“You can expect that you will better understand and develop new perspectives about your struggles through our collaboration, which I called teamwork. I’m here to provide you with the support and tools you need to achieve your therapeutic goals.”
