Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Lan (pronounced like "Mulan" without the "Mu"). I am a second-generation, Vietnamese American female, born to immigrant, refugee parents. I am well versed in the topic of trauma, namely intergenerational trauma.

My typical client...

  • is curious and committed to their healing journey.
  • is often BIPOC, or Asian American, or struggling with bicultural issues.
  • struggles under the burden childhood trauma or intergenerational trauma.
  • wants a therapist who is culturally sensitive.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a person-centered lens, starting with clients as they are and as they come. I am especially enthusiastic to work with first-time therapy seekers, as I understand the amount of courage and curiosity it takes to start therapy.

I am a trauma-informed clinician, meaning I have training and certification in treating individuals who have experienced trauma, whether it be childhood, generational, or complex.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect therapy sessions with me to be warm, inviting, and empowering. I hope to bring a baseline of safety, compassion, and grace to each session.

Goals and outcomes are individualized to each client, so there is no one-size-fits-all format here.
