Great to meet you!

I’ve been trained in a range of therapeutic approaches and areas of focus (Gottman, ACT, CBT, Play Therapy, Trauma, to name a few), but I’ll spare you the alphabet soup. Skill matters, yes. But without a real connection, the work in therapy doesn’t go very far. Relationship is the foundation. With over 25 years in mental health and addiction work, my approach is shaped by both lived experience and formal training.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, my style is grounded, direct, collaborative, and compassionate, with room for humor, depth, and tough conversations that actually create change. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we sit with grief, anger, or shame. All of it belongs.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that feels human, not clinical. There’s no pressure to perform, explain everything perfectly, or be in crisis, just space to slow down, be heard, and start making sense of where you've been and where you want to go.
