Great to meet you!

Mental Health & Trauma-Informed Therapist

As a retired ER nurse with 30 years of experience and over 15 years in mental health counseling, I bring a strong understanding of how stress, trauma, and mental health challenges affect both the body, mind and, and emotions.

I specialize in supporting clients with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, codependency, relationship distress or abuse, grief, attachment wounds, emotional dysregulation, personality disorders, and compassion fatigue in frontline and medical professionals.

I view therapy as a collaborative process of healing and growth.

I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care using EMDR, somatic and polyvagal approaches, mindfulness-CBT, DBT, attachment-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, family systems work, Gottman Method for couples, and EFT/tapping.

My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space while working with you to create a personalized treatment plan that supports meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I support clients in building self-awareness, confidence, and effective skills for managing emotional and physical distress.

I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, working collaboratively to support healing, empowerment, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

After the initial intake, an individualized treatment plan is developed with clear goals, objectives, and interventions. This plan is reviewed and refined with the client by the second or third session. Client collaboration, feedback, concerns or requested changes to the treatment plan are a vital part of ensuring treatment success.
