Great to meet you!

Helping people has always been at the heart of my work. Using a compassionate, practical, and strengths-based approach, therapy focuses on helping clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Whether facing stress, trauma, life and work transitions, or relationship concerns, clients are supported in gaining insight and developing coping skills. I believe people are the experts in their own lives, and therapy is a space to unlock and build on the strengths and wisdom they already possess!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy starts with the belief that every person has strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based social work perspective that focuses on understanding people within the context of their own lives, relationships, and experiences. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where people feel comfortable being themselves, exploring challenges, and identifying practical steps toward the life they want. I draw from person-centered, systems, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to help people build on what is working, navigate difficult moments, and move toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each. I'll ask about your experiences, strengths, goals, and what brings you to therapy, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions as well. The goal is to determine whether we can build the trust, comfort and partnership needed to work towards your goals. If it feels like a good match, we will begin exploring strengths and challenges, and creating that path forward.
