Great to meet you!

I am an LPC in Texas, practicing for over 10 years. My pronouns are she, her. I enjoy working with individuals to help discover how their life can be better, help them achieve personal goals and success. Although I'm not currently seeing children, I can assist with parenting issues, relationship issues, career, and substance issues.

My approach to therapy

I focus on anxiety reduction, increasing healthy coping skills and a holistic approach to mental health. I use solution focused approach for those who are wanting more brief treatment. I also have helped gently guide clients through trauma work and healing past hurts. In addition I may utilize CBT, Motivational interviewing and various Gestalt approaches within the talk therapy sessions. I am client centered and collaborate with my clients to find the best approach to that individual.

What you can expect from me

The first session we will get to know each other to see if we are a good fit. I will gather history and help you come up with counseling goals that may guide us in our journey together. I can be a non biased sounding board, provide education, feedback, techniques to overcome stress, anxiety, depression and deal with grief and loss. Together we will collaborate to find the best treatment plan for you. Let's book a session and see if we are a good fit to work together!
