Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, but before becoming a PMHNP, I spent years in the NICU, the adult ICU, building lung cancer screening programs, time as a sexual assault nurse examiner, and inpatient adult and child psychiatric units. That experience shaped the way I practice today: with compassion, curiosity, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the person behind the symptoms. You don't have to have the perfect words, know exactly what's wrong, or arrive with a diagnosis in hand. I'll meet you there.

My approach to therapy

Mental health care should feel personal, thoughtful, and collaborative, not transactional.

I practice from a trauma-informed, evidence-based perspective while recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I will bring my clinical knowledge and experience to the table, but I want you sitting at that table with me. My hope is that you leave our visits feeling like you weren't just given a treatment plan. You were actually seen, heard, and understood.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is about getting the full story, not rushing to a diagnosis or prescription.

You can expect me to be thorough without being overwhelming, direct without being dismissive, and compassionate without losing clinical objectivity.

My goal isn't to simply tell you what to do. It's to help you understand what is happening, why we're treating it, and how we're going to move forward together.
