Great to meet you!

Born and raised in Southeast Louisiana, my Cajun and Indigenous roots have shaped my appreciation for family, culture, and connection. After graduating from Nicholls State University, I was set to begin Tulane University’s Master of Social Work program in 2005. Hurricane Katrina changed those plans, leading me to relocate to New Jersey, where I later earned my MSW from Rutgers University.

I’ve worked in social work and mental health since 2005 and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Louisiana and New Jersey. My background includes psychotherapy, child welfare, family therapy, couples therapy, and family reunification.

Coming full circle, I’m excited to reconnect with my Louisiana roots through my work. I enjoy helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate relationships, life transitions, self-worth, and patterns they’re ready to change. I bring experience, authenticity, and a little humor along the way.

My approach to therapy

Ever wonder why you keep falling into the same patterns, even when you know better? I believe understanding where we’ve been helps us make sense of where we are.

My approach is rooted in relationships, attachment, and connecting the dots between past experiences and present behaviors. Together, we’ll explore boundaries, people-pleasing, self-worth, communication, and breaking generational cycles.

Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship is where meaningful change begins. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. We’ll laugh together, sometimes cry together, and navigate the uncomfortable stuff, too. I’ll offer compassion, honesty, and gentle challenges along the way because growth doesn’t happen in our comfort zones.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify patterns, challenges, and goals.

Expect a genuine conversation, a little curiosity, and a space where you can show up as yourself.
