Great to meet you!

Hello! A little bit about me...

My name is Holly Tudor, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Richmond, Virginia. I have over ten years of experience in the mental health field and hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including acute, in-home, residential, and outpatient environments. I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families, and have extensive training in evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

My approach to therapy

My clients can expect an affirming, warm, and validating approach when working with me. My theoretical orientation is strength-based, trauma-informed, and highly person-centered. I specialize in helping clients navigate stressful life transitions, relationship challenges, and healing from past trauma. I believe my clients are the true experts of their own lives! By taking the time to find the right support and reflect on your life experiences together we will strive to uncover the innate wisdom and deep resilience that already exists!

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, I’ll focus on learning your story and getting to know you. My hope is to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters personal growth and vulnerability. As trust is established, we’ll continue to collaborate, refining the therapeutic process as needed. Over time, you will begin to notice new insights and skills emerging, both within yourself and in your relationships outside of therapy.
