Great to meet you!

I am committed to helping clients feel safe, heard, seen, and valued. My social work and community health education background help me focus on wellness in all areas of your life!

My approach to therapy

I recognize the uniqueness of each person and create space for clients to feel safe exploring new ideas, learn to trust and advocate for themselves, and recognize their own resilience. Because each person has their own style of learning and engaging, I utilize a generalist approach that includes elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among interventions. Utilizing multiple modalities allows for flexibility to meet clients where they're at and find therapeutic language that makes sense for each individual.

What you can expect from me

In our first session you can expect to tell me your story, values, and overall goals are for therapy. I love to learn about people and work to create a relaxed environment that helps you feel comfortable sharing. Together we can figure out a game plan to tackle the things that are bringing you down and create the life that you've been wanting.
