Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in healthcare. My journey began as a Registered Nurse (RN), where I developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care, advocacy, and clinical excellence. Over time, I felt called to deepen my impact in mental health, which led me to earn my Master of Science in Nursing and transition into advanced practice as a PMHNP.

My background as a nurse first allows me to approach care with compassion, patience, and a holistic perspective. I understand that mental health affects every aspect of life—relationships, work, physical health, and overall well-being. I work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and evidence-based interventions tailored to your unique needs.

I specialize in treating adults ages 17 and above experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, and other common psychiatric concerns. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and culturally sensitive. I believe in building a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your treatment decisions.

Seeking support is a courageous step. My goal is to partner with you on your journey toward stability, clarity, and improved quality of life. I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach, considering biological, psychological, and social factors that impact mental health. My goal is not just symptom reduction, but helping clients build resilience, confidence, and meaningful change in their lives.

Above all, I see treatment as a partnership, we work together to help you feel your best.

What you can expect from me

During our initial visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. I will take time to understand your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and personal goals. As a former registered nurse with over 10 years in healthcare before becoming a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN, PMHNP-BC), I approach care holistically considering both your physical and emotional well-being.

Together, we will identify clear, realistic goals tailored to your needs. These may include symptom reduction such as improved mood, better sleep, or reduced anxiety, medication management when appropriate, strengthening coping skills, and improving daily functioning at work, school, or home.

You can expect collaboration. I believe treatment works best when it is a partnership. I will provide education, discuss options transparently, and involve you in every decision regarding your care plan.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful with a clear next step forward.
