Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with nearly a decade of experience across community mental health, hospital, and private practice settings. I offer sessions in English and Mandarin, and I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. I have a particular understanding of how culture, family history, and identity shape our inner lives — especially for Asian American and immigrant communities

My approach to therapy

I work collaboratively and at your pace. My approach draws from ACT, IFS, mindfulness, and somatic awareness — not as techniques to apply, but as ways of helping you reconnect with yourself. I believe change happens through curiosity, not force. Sessions feel like a genuine conversation where we slow down together, make sense of what you're carrying, and find what actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other — there's no pressure to have everything figured out or to tell your whole story at once. I'll ask some questions to understand what brought you in and what you're hoping for, and I'll leave space for you to ask questions about how I work too. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of direction together, not a rigid plan, but a shared understanding of what matters most to you and where we might begin. Most clients leave the first session feeling heard and a little lighter than when they came in.
