Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy in English and Mandarin Chinese. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family concerns, grief, stress, cultural challenges, and life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I studied and worked in technology, which gives me a unique understanding of demanding careers, high expectations, and balancing professional and personal responsibilities. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood, gain insight, and make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. I help clients explore patterns in their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical skills to navigate challenges. I also consider each client’s cultural background, values, and life experiences to create a supportive space for greater self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will take time to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and learn what you hope to gain from our work together. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, relationships, strengths, and goals. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying your priorities and developing a personalized plan for moving forward.
