Great to meet you!
Hi! I’m Hudia. I’m a licensed clinical social worker, daughter of immigrants, middle child (if you know, you know) and someone who deeply understands what it means to live between worlds.
As a first-generation Afghan American, my work is rooted in honoring both where we come from and who we’re becoming. I understand the complexities of learning to identify your own needs, finding your voice, navigating your own path, and trusting your intuition- while still maintaining meaningful connections to your family, culture, and/or religion. It can feel like an impossible balance to hold, but within a safe space to explore your inner world- and with support that honors the depth of your lived experience- change is possible.
I support women in reconnecting with themselves, setting boundaries with care, and building lives that feel authentic, grounded and rooted. I am especially passionate about supporting women navigating grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, healing from abusive relationships, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to perform, explain everything, or have it all figured out. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe enough to be real. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your voice, and build a life that feels more like your own.
I received both my undergraduate degree and MSW from Cal State San Marcos (go Cougars) and my journey in this field has taken me through foster care & adoption social work, medical social work, working with individuals with severe mental illness, and now community mental health. My professional experiences have deepened my understanding of how complex and overwhelming it can feel to navigate life.
