Great to meet you!

HUDSONOROBINSON, MPsy, LCADC, IADC.CCS,

As a dedicated, caring, and empathetic Behavioral Clinical Counselor and Supervisor providing therapy to clients with Substance Use (SU) and Co-Occurring Disorders (COD). I believe every client is strong enough to confront their undesirable behaviors and challenge themselves to overcome the problems in their lives that lead to severe life impairments in a manner to achieve sustained recovery from substance misuse. I use techniques like Person-Centered, Solution-Focused therapy that is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Contingency Management, and Rational Emotive Therapy to help clients change their behavior and adopt a Higher Quality of Life and overall Wellness.

My practice is anchored in my Master’s degree in Science in Psychology, emphasizing Addiction. As a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), and a Clinical Director.

I believe establishing therapeutic relationships that respect everyone’s cultural and diversity can provide individualized treatment plans to help clients change maladaptive behaviors and achieve a more desirable lifestyle.

My approach to therapy

My clients are encouraged to be mindful of their emotions, question their feelings, make all of their decisions with confidence, and learn lessons from failures. I create a safe space for clients to genuinely share experiences and feelings of life events and situations that stopped them in their quest for growth and personal development.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to be welcomed with respect and dignity for their courage showing up to find solutions to their problems. They get to experience the warmth and solution-focused approach I employ in a unique way to get results.
