Great to meet you!

Ofrezco terapia en español.

I bring over a decade of experience in the recovery community, rooted in a deep understanding of the diverse paths to healing. My background is unique, combining a foundation in public health and medicine—ranging from the community focus of preventive care to the individual intensity of emergency medicine. Having grown up in Puerto Rico, I don’t just speak Spanish; I understand the cultural nuances that shape our experiences. I recognize that challenges like substance use often look different within the Hispanic community, and I am dedicated to providing care that is culturally authentic and clinically sound.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in meeting you exactly where you are. I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" path to recovery or wellness, which is why I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to your needs. I draw from 12-step philosophies (including AA, Dharma, and Smart Recovery), mindfulness-based recovery, and harm reduction. Whether we are navigating lifestyle changes, clinical recovery, or personal growth, my goal is to facilitate a space that is patient-centered and focused on your specific strengths.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and establishing a clear understanding of your current situation. Beyond the initial introductions, we will dive into your specific goals—identifying where you are today and where you want to go. You can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where your voice leads the way. We will discuss your strengths and the path you wish to take, ensuring that our work together is aligned with your personal values and pace.
