Great to meet you!

I believe that a therapist can walk with you until you are able to find your way out when you feel as if you're alone in a dark tunnel that has no exit. I am a Licensed Clinial Social Worker with R privilege. I have MSW from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000 and have provided clinical counseling to children, adolescents and adults for 24 years.

I am confident to offer culturally competent counseling services as I am a Korean American and understand what immigrant families could experience.

My approach to therapy

Insight oriented, strength based and person centered. I adjust my treatment methods according to what is most helpful for the client. My evidenced based treatments include play therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.

What you can expect from me

During my clinical experience, I have witnessed how powerful and how resilient we can be if someone can awaken our inner strengths and goodness and guide us how to love ourselves in healthy ways. My goals are to help people embrace their whole self and to empower them to face their unique and challenging life experiences.
