Ian Howard is a forward thinking, multi-faceted wellness practitioner. Known by many as a creative mind, he blends his philosophy of therapeutic health with his intrinsic artistic expression.

Guided by the spiritual psychology practice of The 3 Principles, Ian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a B.S. in Sociology and Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco.

He began his work leading clinical teams in non-profit organizations that serve low-income families and teens in the Los Angeles area. He has since gone on to work as a Clinical Director for intensive outpatient and inpatient treatment centers. He specializes in developing individualized treatment plans which foster unique and powerful outcomes for the clients he serves.

My approach to therapy

I use a holistic strength based approach that focuses on building insights and knowledge about psychological functioning that can bring about lasting change.
