Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting people through trauma, grief, crisis, and major life transitions. I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work from Tennessee State University and my master's degree from Western Kentucky University. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard and supported. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I believe that our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and environments all influence one another, so therapy should look at the whole person. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and polyvagal-informed approaches to help clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and create lasting change. My style is open-minded, engaging, and solution-focused. Therapy isn't always easy, but I believe it should feel approachable rather than intimidating.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your goals, your strengths, expectations for our time together, and any concerns you have. Together we'll create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. My goal is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can be yourself and feel comfortable taking the first steps toward change.
