Hello, my name is Ian, a Latino therapist based in Florida. My focus of care is related to addictions, trauma care, LGBTQ+ concerns, depression, and anxiety. I like to work with my clients to help align them with their goals and write a new more powerful narrative about their lives.
My style makes use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and solutions focused counseling. I work with clients to develop agency, skills mastery and stability in different aspects of their lives.
I expect my clients to leave my sessions having learned something about themselves and having a small goal to work towards between sessions. I like to help my client's challenge themselves and become a more fulfilled and connected person.
