Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Ibbie Aromolaran, PhD, LPC, and I help adults who feel like anxiety is running the show. My clients often struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, relationship anxiety, self-doubt, and patterns that leave them reacting instead of responding.

My work is attachment-based and focused on helping you understand what's driving those patterns while giving you practical tools to regulate your nervous system, interrupt anxious spirals, and show up differently in your relationships and everyday life. My goal isn't just insight—it's helping you create lasting change that you can actually use outside of therapy.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is both insight-oriented and action-oriented. We work together to understand the deeper attachment patterns and core wounds driving your anxiety, relationship struggles, and emotional reactions, but we don't stop there.

You'll learn practical strategies to regulate your nervous system, slow down anxious spirals, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and respond intentionally instead of reacting automatically. I integrate attachment-based therapy with CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches so that each session gives you something you can begin applying immediately in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is more than just telling your story. While I'll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, we'll also begin identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck—including the attachment wounds, beliefs, and nervous system responses driving your anxiety or relationship struggles.

You'll leave with practical tools you can start using right away to interrupt anxious spirals, regulate your emotions, and respond more intentionally in situations that usually feel overwhelming. My goal is for you to leave your very first session with greater clarity, hope, and a concrete plan for moving forward.
