Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 18 years of healthcare experience. My background includes psychiatric care, telepsychiatry, nursing informatics, and caring for individuals with a wide range of behavioral and mental health needs.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe effective mental health care begins with listening carefully, understanding the whole person, and developing a treatment plan together. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ongoing monitoring, education, and supportive care while helping clients feel comfortable asking questions and participating in decisions about their treatment.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, sleep concerns, and other psychiatric conditions. When appropriate, I also collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other members of your healthcare team.

My goal is to create a respectful, judgment-free environment where you feel heard and supported while we work toward greater stability, functioning, and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized. I take time to understand each client’s symptoms, concerns, life experiences, and treatment goals rather than focusing only on a diagnosis. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation and medication management for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, and sleep concerns. I believe clients should be active participants in their care, so I explain treatment options clearly, discuss potential benefits and risks, and work together to develop a plan that feels appropriate, realistic, and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to listen and understand your story without judgment. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, previous treatments, lifestyle, and what you hope to achieve from care. I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and, when appropriate, discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options. Together, we will establish initial goals and develop an individualized treatment plan. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, respected, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
