Great to meet you!

I am dually Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina and Virginia and have over 20 plus years of clinical experience. I help men and women work through old beliefs and patterns that negatively impact their relationships and everyday life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to counseling operates from a strength base approach to help you identify your strengths within yourself and develop self-awareness that will aid you to meet you goals through your active involvement as well as efforts to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Sometimes change will be easy and swift, but more often it will be slow and deliberate; effort may need to be repeated. I’m here all the way to work collaboratively with you and help you reach your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

By working through trauma and negative thoughts, we will develop new skills, attitudes and ways of thinking that open new opportunities and help you experience a renewed sense of enjoyment for people and everyday activities.
